Welcome to the Brilliant Butterflies Class! We're looking forward to seeing you all again and continuing your learning journey working hard towards achieving learning objectives from the National Curriculum in a fun and engaging practical way. We will be building on the play based learning we have experienced in Reception with lots of fun, motivating outdoor learning including more Forest School experiences.
In the Brilliant Butterfly class the children will be taught by the class Teacher Miss Mellors with support from the marvellous Teaching Assistant Miss Repton.
Bertie the Butterfly (our class mascot) loves to see the Brilliant Butterflies doing well and achieving their best so he will reward children who demonstrate their 'can do' attitude and try really hard (this includes home learning achievements along with reading at home more than 3 times a week and completion of homework).
PE will be every Friday and every other Tuesday for the Brilliant Butterflies. Our library afternoon will be every Tuesday.
Please keep on looking to see updates, especially at the start of every new term, when we will inform you of our new topic and upcoming events. If you are not already signed up to class Dojo, please speak to Miss Mellors for a code to join this. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Learning gives you the wings to fly like a brilliant butterfly!
