Hedgehogs

 We are really excited to be working with our new class of Happy Hedgehogs. I (Miss Mellors) and Miss Repton are looking forward to a fantastic year of learning together with you! 

Please sign up to Class Dojo if you haven't already as there will be regular updates from class posted here. You can also share your own exciting family news and events with staff using this platform.

Our PE days are Monday and alternate Wednesdays. Please ensure that children have their PE kits in school. Our library morning will be on a Tuesday morning and a Wednesday afternoon, please make sure your child has their library book with them to swap for new one. We want to develop their love of reading.

Please ensure that your child brings their book bag to school every day, children need their phonics folders daily to file their work and there is a homework reading and writing challenge on each sheet to be completed at home. This makes a big difference to their confidence. Our reading target is to read at home three times weekly, please make sure that this is written in your child's reading record (we do our reading record checks on a Friday. We reward children who have met their reading target and have completely weekly homework with prizes at the end of each term.
